In early trading on Monday, shares of Verizon Communications topped the list of the day’s best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 2.8%. Year to date, Verizon Communications registers a 17.1% gain.
And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is International Business Machines, trading down 1.5%. International Business Machines is lower by about 22.8% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Apple, trading down 1.3%, and Nike, trading up 1.4% on the day.
