In early trading on Friday, shares of NVIDIA topped the list of the day’s best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 3.5%. Year to date, NVIDIA has lost about 10.9% of its value.

And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is Verizon Communications, trading down 1.0%. Verizon Communications is showing a gain of 8.2% looking at the year to date performance.

Two other components making moves today are Johnson & Johnson, trading down 0.9%, and Amazon.com, trading up 2.2% on the day.
