Indigenous Tourism BC is set to receive $350,000 for capacity-building workshops and content development. This initiative aims to promote Indigenous culture and heritage through engaging media campaigns.
A Journey into History
The Vancouver Maritime Museum is granted $250,000 to refurbish the historic St. Roch National Historic Site, offering an immersive showcase of Inuit navigational skills and history.
A Cinematic Affair
The Greater Vancouver International Film Festival Society will use its $250,000 funding to enhance the 2024 Vancouver International Film Festival with interactive events and exclusive experiences to attract local and international attendees.
Diverse Investment Portfolio
Additional investments include $205,270 for Fort Langley Community Improvement Society, $201,000 for Nectar Yoga Retreat, $129,500 for Tourism Burnaby, and $250,000 for Yes Cycle, each contributing to enriching tourism experiences in the region.
